Madurai dosa is a lovely dosa preparation with chicken / crab / prawn masala topping. It can be eaten as itself, no other sidedish is required. A lovely and delicious masala is prepared and are topped on dosa while preparing. Here the ingredients given for a single dosa, you can multiply it to your need. Here i prepared with chicken masala, you can do it with anything you loves. It is simple, easy and tasty, give a try on it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Dosa batter: 1/4 cup
- Egg: 1
- Chicken: 100 g
- Shallots: 100 g
- Tomato: 1 tbs
- Chilly powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Heat Oil in a pressure cooker, saute shallots in it.
- Then add ginger-garlic taste and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Cut the chicken into small pieces without bones and added to pressure cooker.
- Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and cumin powders and mix well.
- Now add tomato pieces and salt.
- Add 1/4 cup water, mix well and close the lid of cooker.
- Cook in medium flame for 10 minutes and release its pressure.
- Open the lid of cooker.
- If there presents water, cook in low flame to drain the water.
- Mix well egg with dosa batter.
- Heat a tawa or dosa pan, grease it with little oil and pour the batter to it.
- Cook for 1 minute with closed lid.
- Open the lid and spread the chicken masala all over the dosa.
- Again cook for 2 minutes with closed lid.
- Remove from tawa and serve hot.
