Here comes a delicious warming Soup for the coming winter season with mutton paya. Here is simply awesome and are easily prepared. Try this healthy recipe to warm up your body.
- Mutton paya: 6-7
- Shallots :4-5
- Cinnamon: 1 inch
- Cloves: 3-4
- Bay leaf: 1
- Peppercorns: 4-5
- Pepper powder: 3/4 -1 tsp
- Ginger: 1/2 inch
- Garlic:4-5 cloves
- Green chilly: 1(slitted)
- Corn flour/ arrowroot powder: 1&1/2 tbs
- Oil: 1/2 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Coriander leaves: few
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Thoroughly clean the mutton paya.
- Heat pressure cooker with oil.
- Roast all whole spices in it for 1-2 minutes.
- Now saute ginger- garlic- paste till it's raw smell moves.
- Now saute shallots till it is translucent.
- Add green chilly and saute for 30 seconds.
- Now add paya and 3 cups of water along with pepper powder and salt.
- You can adjust the spiciness to your taste.
- Close the lid of pressure cooker and cook it for 40- 45 minutes in medium flame.
- When the pressure escapes, open the lid .
- Add water if required.
- Allow it to boil.
- Now mix cornflour or arrowroot powder in little water and add it to the above boiling soup.
- Boil it for 10-12 minutes.
- You can add more flour if required.
- Taste for salt and spicy, add if required any.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and remove from flame.
Delicious, simple and healthy Mutton Paya Soup is ready, serve hot.
