Prawns macaroni pizza
Ingredients1. Macaroni (cooked): 1 cup
2. Prawns: 150 g
3. Onion: 2 big
4. Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbs
5. Green chilly: 1 (thinly chopped)
6. Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
7. Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
8. Chilly powder: 1 tsp
9. Tomato sauce: 2 tbs
10. Soy sauce: 1/2 tsp
11. Egg: 4
12: Coriander leaves: 2 tbs (chopped)
13: Mozzarella cheese(grated): 1/2-3/4 cup
14: Oil: 2-3 tbs
15: Salt: to taste
16: Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
17: Ghee: 1 tbs
Preparation Method
Marinate prawns with chilly powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and salt. Heat a pan, add little oil and fry the marinated prawns.
When the prawns get cooked, take it out from the pan. Add chopped onion to the same pan and saute well by adding little salt. When onion becomes soft and changes its color, add in ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilly and saute till its raw smell escapes.
Now add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and saute for 1-2 minutes. You can add more green chilly or pepper powder if you loves spicy. Just crush the prawns and add into the preparing masala. Now add in tomato sauce, soy sauce, coriander leaves, mix it well.
Now check the salt and add more if required
Cut the cooked macaroni into 2 or 3 pieces, or use as itself and add to the prepared masala and mix it well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes and turn the flame off. You can also add carrot, capsicum to make it more healthy and tasty.
Beat the eggs in a bowl with a spoon with little salt and pepper powder and add in to the prepared masala and mix well.
Heat a thick bottomed pan, add in 1 tbs ghee( or add oil instead) and pour the batter into the pan and Cook in very low flame for 10-15 minutes. When it is half cooked, that means after 5 minutes, spread the grated mozzarella cheese allover the top. sprinkle oregano if you have( optional) which brings a special aroma. Close the lid and cook in very low flame. Check occasionally whether it is done.
Remove from pan, cut into slices and serve hot the delicious prawns macaroni pizza with a cup of tea.
