American Chopsuey

American Chopsuey is a delicious american noodle recipe. This dish is prepared by three parts and are combined at last. Noodles are cooked, drained and are fried to form crispy nest. Next we prepare a gravy filling with chicken and vegetables and are topped with a egg Bull's eye(fried egg). It is really a wonderful and easy noodle recipe, just give a try on it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Noodles: 100 g
  2. Boneless chicken: 1 big piece
  3. Sliced onion: 3 tbs
  4. Grated carrot: 1/4 cup
  5. Chopped cabbage: 1/4 cup
  6. Tomato sauce: 1/2 cup
  7. Chicken stock: 2 tbs
  8. Pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Egg: 1
  10. Cornflour: 1/2 tbs
  11. Oil: as required
  12. Salt: to taste.
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Boil water with little salt.
  • Cook noodles in boiling water.
  • When it gets cooked, drain water and fry them it hot oil without separating them till it become crispy. This way we will get a crispy net-shaped noodles.
  • Cut the chicken into small pieces .
  • Heat little oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces.
  • When it get fried, add chopped onion, cabbage, carrot, pepper powder and little salt .
  • Mix well and cook.
  • When it gets 80% cooked, pour chicken stock, mix and allow it to boil.
  • Mix cornflour with water .
  • Add tomato sauce and cornflour mix to it and stir cook till the gravy thickens.
  • Fry egg to get egg Bull's eye.
  • Place the fried noodles in a serving plate, pour the prepare gravy with chicken and vegetables above it. Place egg bull's on top.
Delicious American Chopsuey is ready, serve hot.
