Chilly chicken roast is a whole fried chicken recipe with simple marination. It is very simple to prepare but tastes extra delicious. As butter is used for marination, it brings a pleasant flavor to chicken.As we are baking we uses no other oil than 1 tbs of olive oil, hence this recipe is healthy too.
- Whole Chicken With Skin: 1 kg
- Red chilly: 3
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 2-3 cloves
- Ginger: 1 inch piece
- Lemon juice: 1 tbs
- Olive Oil: 1 tbs
- Butter: 15 g
- Pepper Powder: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves chopped: 2 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Preheat oven to 190 degree.
- Add chopped red chilly, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, Turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger, garlic(both chopped), lemon juice, olive oil, coriander leaves,salt and just grind it wioth 2 tbs of water. Don't make it fine paste, just crush and mix is only we need.
- Mix these with melted butter and marinate both inner and outer part of chicken with it.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and bake for 1 hour in preheated oven.
- Brush the liquid in the tray to chicken in intervals.
- Just give a flip in between the baking period.
