Spicy Chicken

Spicy Chicken recipe is simple way of preparing a awesome chicken dish with coated gravy( not too gravy). It's another version of fried chicken but with little gravy. Spicy Chicken is a lovely combination with any dish.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Chicken: 1/2 kg
  2. Onion: 1 small
  3. Tomato: 2 large
  4. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbs
  5. Green chilly: 1
  6. Chilly powder: 1 tbs
  7. coriander powder: 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  9. Chicken masala: 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
  11. Curry leaves: 2 strings
  12. Oil: 1-2 tbs
  13. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger-garlic paste in it.
  • Now saute chilly and coriander powder in it till it's raw smell moves.
  • Now add chicken pieces along with chopped onion, slit green chilly, curry leaves,combine well and cook for 5 minutes in high flame .
  • Now lower the flame , add turmeric powder, garam masala and chicken masala and salt. 
  • Cook on medium low flame with closed lid with occasional stirring till chicken gets half cooked. Add little water if required( as water will come out from chicken itself).
  • Puree the tomatoes and add to cooking chicken.
  • Mix well and cook with closed lid till chicken cooked well and gravy thickens and coats with chicken.
  • If you don't want more spicy, reduce the amount of chilly powder.
Yummy Spicy Chicken is ready, serve hot
