Carrot Burfi

Carrot burfi is a simple, healthy sweet or dessert prepared with very few ingredients that too are common in our daily life. It is very delicious, nutritious and easy too, give a try on any special occasions or at any time for our loved ones.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Carrot grated: 2 cup
  2. Coconut grated: 2 cup
  3. Sugar: 1 cup
  4. Milk: 1 tbs
  5. Cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp( or use vanilla essence)
  6. Ghee: 2 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • In a non stick pan, add grated carrot, coconut ,milk and sugar and cook on low flame by occasional stirring till all liquid dries up .
  • Now add 2 tsp ghee and cardamom powder or vanilla essence and stir well to get combined.
  • Now transfer it to a greased pan and level the top part.
  • Mark lines in diamond or square shapes to cut the slices.
  • Refrigerate till it sets , atleast for 3-4 hours.
  • Now slice and serve.
