Prawns Rolls or Springrolls

Mostly all of us loves to have prawns from seafood. They are lovely and are quick to cook. Here comes a snack with prawns filling: Prawns Springrolls or simply roll . It is yummy and lovely snack, give a try upon it. Here I prepared crepes with wheat flour to make the rolls more healthy.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION 
  1. Prawns cooked: 2 cup
  2. Wheat flour: 1 cup
  3. Onion:  2-3
  4. Green chilly: 2
  5. Chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
  6. Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder: 3/4 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder: a pinch
  9. Garlic: 5 cloves
  10. Cumin : a pinch
  11. Coriander leaves: 2 tbs
  12. Kasuri methi: 1 tbs
  13. Egg: 1
  14. Bread crumbs or rusk powder: 1 cup
  15. Salt: to taste.
  16. Oil: for shallow fry
METHOD OF PREPARATION 
  • Prepare a batter with wheat flour,salt and pepper powder. You can also use all purpose flour or a mixture of both.
  • Cook thin crepes or dosas out of it.
  • Now let's prepare the filling.
  • Here we use cooked prawns in chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and crushed it.
  • Heat a pan with little oil , sputter cumin seeds and saute onion along with garlic and green chilly paste.
  • When onion turns to soft, add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, along with salt and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now add crushed prawns, coriander leaves and kasuri methi,stir well and turn off the flame.
  • Now fill each crepe with little prawn masala and roll it.
  • Dip each roll in beaten egg and roll it over bread or rusk powder.
  • Heat a pan with little oil and shallow fry each roll it in.
Yummy Prawn Spring rolls are ready. Serve hot.
