Pulivaalam

Pulivaalam is a delicious breakfast or snack recipe that are prepared easily. It is best choice for any time party whether it is breakfast, lunch, teatime or dinner. As it is prepared with a thick batter made of rice, boiled rice, egg and coconut, it is healthy too. Even kids will love to have it alone. Give a try upon it.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. White rice : 2 cup
  2. Boiled rice : 2 cup
  3. Egg: 2
  4. Coconut: 1/2 of 1
  5. Salt: to taste
  6. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Soak white rice for 3-4 hours.
  • Grind soaked rice, boiled rice, eggs and grated coconut along with salt and little water.
  • Batter should be thick( not too thick) as we are taking batter in hand and are lined in length directly to oil( tamarind shape). If it is loose , you cannot handle.
  • Heat oil in a pan .
  • Take batter in hand and pour onto hot oil in length to get pulivaalam shape.
  • Cook in low flame till it gets cooked.

Delicious and healthy Pulivaalam is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
