Onion Pakora / Pakoda

Onion Pakora is one of the most delicious, healthy and quick crispy snack that can be prepared easily with few ingredients. They are really yummy and are lovely choice for ifthar, teaime or anytime snack, give a try upon it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Onion: 2
  2. Green chilly: 2
  3. Ginger: 1/4 tsp(finely chopped)
  4. Cumin seeds: 1/4 tsp
  5. Besan flour: 3 tbs
  6. Corn flour: 1 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves: little
  8. Curry leaves: little
  9. Salt: to taste
  10. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Thinly slice onions and finely chop green chilly. If green chilly is too big then reduce the quantity to one.
  • Take a bowl, mix onion slices,finely chopped green chilly, ginger, coriander and curry leaves, cumin seeds and salt.
  • Separately mix corn flour with besan flour and add to onion mix.
  • Mix well with your palms, add little water if needed only.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add 1 tbs of onion mix to it each time. you can also add with your hand too.
  • Fry in low flame till they get lovely golden color.
Delicious crispy and healthy Onion Pakora or Pakoda is ready. Serve hot.
