Scotch Eggs

Scotch eggs are lovely snack recipe with boiled egg and chicken masala. They are delicious snack, can be prepared easily and are best choice for teatime party. Give a try upon this wonderful recipe.



INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Egg: 4
  2. Chicken mince: 250 g(cooked, removed its bones and ground)
  3. Potato: 1 large
  4. Onion: 1 large
  5. Green chilly: 2
  6. Ginger: 1 piece
  7. Curry leaves: 1 string
  8. Garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Bread crumbs: 1/2 cup
  10. Salt: to taste
  11. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Boil 3 eggs and remove its shell.
  • Boil potato, remove its skin and mash it.
  • Heat little oil in a pan, saute chopped onion, green chilly, gingerpaste and curry leaves(chopped thinly) in it,till it is done well.
  • Add mashed potato , minced chicken and garam masala powder and mix well, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from flame.
  • Take 1/3 rd of mix from it and cover the egg.
  • Do it with other 2 eggs.
  • Beat a egg and dip covered egg in it and roll over the bread crumbs.
  • Fry them in hot oil till all the sides turns golden brown.
  • Cut them into 2 or 4 pieces and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Delicious snack Scotch egg is ready, serve hot.
