INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Pumpkin(ripened): 3/4 kg
- Ghee: 6 tbs
- Milk: 500 ml
- Sugar: 10-12 tbs
- Condensed milk: 3-4 tbs
- Cashew: 50 g
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Remove skin of pumpkin and grate it.
- Take a thick-bottomed pan and heat 3 tbs of ghee in it.
- Roast cashew pieces in it and take out from ghee, keep aside.
- Now add grated pumpkin to ghee in pan and saute till its water drains and changes the color.
- Pour sugar and half of milk to it and cook till it thicken by occasional stirring.
- When it is about to drain, you have stir continuously, otherwise it may burn.
- Now add remaining milk, condensed milk and ghee o it.
- You can adjust sugar and condensed milk addition to your sweetness.
- Stir well and cook till it driesup and reaches halwa consistency with continuous stirring.
- All comes together without sticking, we need such consistency.
- Add roasted cashew and combine it well.
- Take a greased bowl and add the halwa into it.
- Allow it to cool
Delicious soft sweet Pumpkin halwa is ready . Cut into squares and serve.
