Black & White Crepe Cake

Most of us are fond of cakes. There are lots of varieties of cakes we have experienced . Here comes a cake prepared by layering crepes of two colors separated with whipped cream. It is really delicious and attractive, also easy to prepare without oven. Here we prepare batter little bit thinner than normal cakes and are converted to multiple thin crepes and are then arranged. It is simple, easy and tasty , do try on it.

Black & White Crepe Cake

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Egg: 6
  2. Milk: 2&1/2 cup + 1 &1/2 cup for whipping cream
  3. All purpose flour: 1 &1/4 cup
  4. Cocoa powder: 3 tbs
  5. Butter: 1/3 cup
  6. Sugar: 6-7 tbs
  7. Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
  8. Whipping cream powder: 3 sachet
  9. Drinking chocolate powder: for sprinkling

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Crack the eggs and add into a mixing bowl.
  • Add 2&1/2  cups of  milk to it and beat to get combined.
  • Now add melted butter and mix well.
  • Add sugar and combine well. Use powdered sugar which helps in easier combining.
  • Vanilla essence is mixed next to the batter.
  • Now slowly mix all purpose flour little by little without any lump.
  • If there produces lump, sieve and remove it.
  • Now divide the batter into two equal portion.
  • To one portion, mix cocoa powder without any lump.
  • Now lets prepare crepes.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan, Pour 1 laddle of batter from any one bowl.
  • Roll the pan to get the batter equally distributed.
  • When the batter dries, flip to other side.
  • Repeat the steps for whole batter of two bowls.
  • Take care the flame should be low.
  • Now beat whipping cream powder with 1&1/2 cups of cold milk till fluffy and smooth.
  • Now place a white crepe in a plate, spread little whipped creme over it.
  • Place cocoa or black crepe above it.
  • Spread whipped cream over it and place white crepe.
  • Repeat the steps for layering crepes till whole white and black crepes finishes.
  • Top should be black crepe.
  • Cover the top and sides of crepes with remaining whipped cream as we do for normal cake.
  • Sprinkle drinking chocolate powder throughout the cake.
  • Refrigerate until use.
