There may be few persons who don't like ice-creams and cakes, most of us are crazy of both these. Here comes a combination recipe with cake and ice-cream which is really great and delicious. Here i used two flavors of ice-cream" mango and chocolate", You can use single or multiple flavors of your choice. Also i used readymade cream frosting on top, You can use whipped cream or any other frosting of your choice. It is really fantastic that everyone will love, give a try on it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Sponge / pound cake: 3 pieces( size and shape of tin you are using for preparing ice-cream cake)
- Mango ice-cream: 3-4 scoops
- Chocolate ice-cream: 3-4 scoops
- Cream frosting: 1 tin
- Sprinkles: to garnish
- Line the tray we are using for preparation with cling wrap that covers bottom and walls of tray and also needs to cover top also.
- You can use either ready-made cake or prepare yourself. For cake recipe, click on "cake" .
- I used a rectangular bowl for the preparation.
- Place a piece of cake in the bowl that covers the bottom of bowl.
- Spread a thick layer with any one flavor of ice-cream. For home-made ice-creams click on " Ice-creams".
- Now top it with another piece of cake that covers the ice-cream.
- Spread the next flavor of ice-cream over it.
- Cover it with last piece of cake .
- Cover it with the ends of cling wrap and keep it in freezer for 4-5 hours.
- After that demould and remove the cling wrap.. you can easily demould it by pulling the wrap ends.
- Spread cream frosting all over the ice-cream cake as we do for normal cakes.
- Garnish the top and sides with sprinkles and refrigerate again for 1 hour.
