Ghee Roast Dosa

Ghee Roast Dosa is a delicious crispy dosa recipe, best choice for breakfast or dinner. They are thin crispy dosa with the goodness of ghee.  We all especially our kids will love this wonderful easy dosa. They are easily and quickly prepared, give a try on it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. White rice: 1 cup
  2. Urad dal: 1/2 cup
  3. Fenu greek seeds: 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt: to taste
  5. Ghee: as required
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Soak white rice for 4-5 hours.
  • Soak uraddal and fenugreek seeds for 3-5 hours.
  • Grind white rice with little water to smooth batter. Do not add more water.
  • Also grind urad dal and fenugreek together with little water to smooth paste.
  • Mix both together and keep for fermentation overnight or atleast 7-8 hours.
  • Before preparing dosa, add water to make the batter required thickness(not too watery or not too thick).
  • Also add salt and mix.
  • Heat a wide pan and pour a laddle of batter.
  • Move the back of laddle from centre to end in a circular motion to get thin large dosa.
  • It is usually prepared in big pans, i prepared in little bit smaller one as i doesn't have big. 
  • Adjust the laddle of batter to your pan size.
  • Cook till they turns crispy and brownish by applying ghee on top.
Delicious Crispy Ghee Roast Dosa is ready. Serve hot with sambhar or chutney.
