Chicken Manchurian

Chicken Manchurian is a delicious Indo-chinese chicken recipe. gravy of this preparation is rich in creamy sauce and are really yummy. It goes well with any dinner or breakfast dish. It is not spicy, so kids will love this too. It is simple easy and quick to prepare Chicken manchurian, give a try on it.



INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Chicken(boneless): 1/2 kg
  2. Onion: 2
  3. Capsicum: 1
  4. Green chilly: 2
  5. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbs
  6. Chilly powder: 1&1/2 tsp
  7. Pepper powder: 2 tsp
  8. Tomato sauce:2 tbs
  9. Soy sauce: 1 tbs
  10. Corn flour: 2&1/2 tbs
  11. Egg: 1
  12. Sugar: 1/2 tsp
  13. Spring onion:2-3 tbs
  14. Oil:3 tbs+ frying
  15. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Marinate chicken pieces with 1 egg ,2 tbs cornflour, 1/2 tbs ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp chilly powder, 1 tsp pepper powder, and salt for 1-2 hours.
  • Shallow fry marinated chicken pieces in oil.
  • Heat oil in a pan, saute remaining ginger-garlic paste in it.
  • When its raw smell moves, add chopped onion, cubed capsicum and chopped green chilly to it and saute till onions changes its color.
  • Now add remaining chilly powder, pepper powder and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add soy sauce, tomato sauce and salt, mix well and allow it to boil.
  • Next add 1 cup of hot water and allow it to boil after a stir to mix all the ingredients.
  • Mix remaining cornflour with little water and pour to boiling gravy. Also add if marinated gravy remains.
  • Mix well and add little sugar to it.
  • Add fried chicken pieces, mix well and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  • Add chopped spring onion and remove from flame.
Delicious Chicken Manchurian is ready. Serve hot.
