Punjabi chicken masala is a yummy chicken gravy recipe which can be prepared easily without too much sauting. Only a marination period of half an hour is required, then we can prepare it within 10-15 minutes. It is simple , quick and easy recipe with few ingredients, give a try on it.
- Chicken: 1/2 kg
- Onion: 3
- Tomato: 3
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbs
- Curd: 1/2 cup
- Chilly powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tbs
- Garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cloves: 2
- Cardamom: 2
- Coriander leaves: 3 tbs
- Oil: little
- Salt: to taste
- Marinate chicken pieces with Curd, ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 tsp chilly powder, coriander leaves and salt for half an hour.
- Grind onion, tomato, 1/2 tsp chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cloves, cardamom to a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a wok, Saute ground paste in it.
- Now add marinated chicken pieces , mix well and cook in low flame with closed lid.
- Add water if required.
- When chicken pieces get cooked, remove from flame.
