Methi Missi Roti

Missi roti is a lovely roti preparation with wheat flour and besan flour. If we use methi leaves while preparing roti, it turns to Methi missi roti. As we use two healthy flours, besan and wheat flour for roti preparation, The roti also turns healthy. Methi leaves are also healthy. It is simple but tasty roti, give a try on it.


Methi Missi Roti


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Besan flour: 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour: 1 cup
  3. Kasuri methi: 1 tbs
  4. Red chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder: a pinch
  6. Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves: 1 tbs
  8.  Ghee: 2 tbs
  9. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Take a mixing bowl and mix wheat flour, besan flour, Cumin, chilly and turmeric powders, 1 tbs ghee, kasuri methi, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.
  • Knead it well by adding water to get dough like chappathi dough.
  • Convert them into 6 equal balls.
  • Now take a ball and roll it into thin circle.
  • Apply little ghee all over it and fold it into semicircle.
  • Again apply little ghee and fold to get triangle.
  • Now roll it into thin triangular sheet.
  • Repeat the steps for remaining 5 balls.
  • Cook both sides of roti as we do for chappathi.
Lovely and healthy Methi Missi roti is ready. Serve hot with any gravy.
