Ice-cream Sandwich

We all love to eat ice-creams and cakes. Here comes a lovely sandwich recipe prepared with cake and ice-cream. Ice-cream is layered between cake pieces along with little dry fruits to form a lovely sandwich. Here i used chocolate cake to get a lovely color combination with vanilla ice-cream. Ice-cream Sandwich

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All Purpose Flour: 1&1/2 tbs
  2. Egg: 2
  3. Cocoa powder: 1&1/2 tbs
  4. Sugar: 3 tbs
  5. Baking powder: a pinch
  6. Vanilla essence: 1/4 tsp
  7. Butter: 2 tsp
  8. Vanilla ice-cream: as required
  9. Cashew and pistachio chopped: 1/2 cup
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Sift mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  • Beat well eggs using egg beater.
  • Add sugar little by little and beat again till it combines with egg.
  • Mix vanilla essence with it.
  • Now add all purpose flour mixture little by little and mix with a spoon, till it combines without any lump.
  • Heat a wide- mouth non-stick pan and melt butter in it.
  • Keep the flame to low and pour the cake mixture and level it with a spoon till all sides reaches same thickness.
  • Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes in low flame and allow it to cool
  • Now cut it using a cookie cutter .
  • Place one piece of cake, spread ice-cream and sprinkle some nuts and place another piece of cake.
  • Or you can place some pieces on a dessert dish and  top it up with ice-cream scoops and nuts.
Delicious Ice-cream Sandwich is ready. Serve fresh
