Pink puri is a delicious and healthy puri recipe with a combination with beetroot juice. Here we uses beetroot juice for kneading the dough which provides the dish a wonderful color and turn it to nutritious too as beetroot have many nutritional values. Kids may be lazy to have vegetables, but surely will love this recipe. You can use all purpose flour instead of wheat flour, but it is healthier to use wheat flour.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Wheat flour: 1 cup
- Rawa/semolina: 1 cup
- Beetroot: 1
- Ghee: 2 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: for frying
- Prepare beetroot juice by grinding beetroot pieces with water. Mix wheat flour and rawa in a bowl.
- Now combine 2 tsp of ghee and salt in it.
- Knead it with beetroot juice to get a smooth dough.
- Convert them into small balls and press into small puris.
- Fry both sides in boiling oil.
