Parathas or chappathi are lovely dinner dish with wheat flour or all purpose flour.It can be converted into many delicious dishes by stuffing them with few ingredients while rolling. Here comes such a recipe in which i stuffed prawn masala to wheat flour chappathi. It is soft and really lovable.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Prawns cooked: 1 cup
- Wheat flour: 1 cup
- Onion: 1
- Green chilly: 1
- Chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder: 3/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder: a pinch
- Garlic: 3-4 cloves
- Cumin : a pinch
- Coriander leaves: 2 tbs
- Kasuri methi: 1 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: as needed
- Knead wheat flour with salt and water to a smooth dough.
- Crush cooked prawns using a mixer grinder.
- Heat a pan and little oil.
- Sputter cumin in it.
- Now saute finely chopped onion, green chilly and garlic.
- Add chilly, coriander and turmeric powders, crushed prawns, coriander leaves and kasuri methi into it and mix well.
- Mix salt and turn off the flame.
- Now take little dough. Make it into small circle using hand and place little masala in the middle.
- Cover it from all sides and roll slowly without breaking it.
- Heat a pan and grease little oil in it.
- Now cook both sides of chappathi.
- Repeat the steps for whole dough and masala.
