Palak leaves are nutritious leaves having many health benefits. They helps in weight loss, controlling blood sugar level, healthy for eyes and heart, prevents cancer and so on. So daily intake of palak leaves helps in preventing many diseases. But eating fresh may not like by everyone, so include it while preparing food. Here comes such a healthy chicken gravy recipe with palak leaves. It is easy and simple recipe but tastes great and healthy too. We cooks chicken in palak-tomato puree, no other additional water is used.

- Chicken: 800 g
- Palak leaves: 2 bundle
- Onion: 3
- Tomato: 2
- Ginger: 1/2 inch
- Garlic: 4-5 cloves
- Chilly powder: 2 tsp
- Coriander powder: 2 tsp
- Fresh cream: 2 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: for sauting
- Rinse palak leaves in water and cook it with little water. Cook till water boils.
- Drain water and grind it along with tomato pieces without adding water to a fine puree.
- Also prepare paste with ginger, garlic, chilly and coriander powders.
- Now heat a thick-bottomed saucepan and add little oil in it.
- Now saute chopped onion till it turns to golden brown.
- Now add ginger-garlic-chilly-coriander powder paste and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces to it, mix well and saute for 5 minutes.
- Then add palak-tomato puree , mix well and cook in low flame with closed lid.
- Add salt also.
- When chicken pieces gets cooked turn off the flame.
