Chicken Tikka Kebab

Tikka kebab is a delicious kebab recipe loves to eat at anytime especially cold weather with little tomato ketchup. It is little spicy, you can adjust the spiciness to your taste while adding green-chilly and red chilly powder. Here we use spicy yogurt mixture for Tikka kebab preparation which provides a great taste and texture to the dish.

Chicken Tikka Kebab

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Chicken breast: 1 large
  2. Potatoes: 4 medium sized
  3. Red chilly powder: 1 &1/2 tbs
  4. Tikka masala: 2 tbs
  5. Coriander powder: 1 tbs
  6. Cumin powder: 1 tsp
  7. Black pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
  8. Yogurt: 2 tbs
  9. Cheddar cheese: 4 tbs
  10. Green chilly: 3
  11. Egg: 1 large
  12. Bread crumbs:3/4 cup
  13. Salt: to taste
  14. Coriander leaves: half bundle
  15. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Cut the chicken breast into small pieces
  • Boil the potatoes .
  • Heat a large frying pan and add 2 tbs of oil and put the chicken pieces.
  • Stir and cook the chicken pieces over medium flame till it thickens.
  • Now add 2 tbs yogurt and 2 tbs tikka masala powder, mix well and fry the chicken pieces.
  • Turn off the flame and add 4 tbs of cheddar cheese to the fried chicken and mix well.
  • Peel off and mash the potatoes in a large mixing bowl and mix red chilly, cumin, coriander and black pepper powders and salt with it.
  • Now shred the chicken pieces and mix with the above mixture.
  • Also add chopped coriander leaves and chopped green chilly  to it.
  • Mix everything together and check for salt. If required add more.
  • Prepare kebabs with it.
  • Now beat a egg and dip each kebab in it.
  • Roll it over bread crumbs. Ensure all part covered with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry it in hot oil and transfer to a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
Delicious and lovely Chicken tikka kebabs are ready. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
