Tikka kebab is a delicious kebab recipe loves to eat at anytime especially cold weather with little tomato ketchup. It is little spicy, you can adjust the spiciness to your taste while adding green-chilly and red chilly powder. Here we use spicy yogurt mixture for Tikka kebab preparation which provides a great taste and texture to the dish.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Chicken breast: 1 large
- Potatoes: 4 medium sized
- Red chilly powder: 1 &1/2 tbs
- Tikka masala: 2 tbs
- Coriander powder: 1 tbs
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
- Yogurt: 2 tbs
- Cheddar cheese: 4 tbs
- Green chilly: 3
- Egg: 1 large
- Bread crumbs:3/4 cup
- Salt: to taste
- Coriander leaves: half bundle
- Oil: for frying
- Cut the chicken breast into small pieces
- Boil the potatoes .
- Heat a large frying pan and add 2 tbs of oil and put the chicken pieces.
- Stir and cook the chicken pieces over medium flame till it thickens.
- Now add 2 tbs yogurt and 2 tbs tikka masala powder, mix well and fry the chicken pieces.
- Turn off the flame and add 4 tbs of cheddar cheese to the fried chicken and mix well.
- Peel off and mash the potatoes in a large mixing bowl and mix red chilly, cumin, coriander and black pepper powders and salt with it.
- Now shred the chicken pieces and mix with the above mixture.
- Also add chopped coriander leaves and chopped green chilly to it.
- Mix everything together and check for salt. If required add more.
- Prepare kebabs with it.
- Now beat a egg and dip each kebab in it.
- Roll it over bread crumbs. Ensure all part covered with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry it in hot oil and transfer to a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
