Chicken recipes are delicious and are of different varieties. Our little one's loves to eat drumsticks. Even we loves it. Here com es a different and simple recipe for crispy and tasty drumstick fries.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Chicken drumstick/wings(lollipops): 24
- Red chilly paste: 2 tsp
- Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
- Soy sauce: 1 tsp
- Vinegar: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 4-6 cloves
- Egg: 2
- All purpose flour: 3/4 cup
- Cornflour: 3/4 cup
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: 1/4 cup + for deep frying
- Peel of the garlic clove and prepare its paste.
- Clean, wash and drain off water of drumsticks.
- Mix 1 tsp red chilly paste, garlic paste, pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar and required salt . Combine them well.
- Marinate the drumsticks with the prepared paste and keep marinated for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.
- Combine all purpose flour and cornflour in a bowl and mix 2 eggs, 1 tsp of red chilly paste, 1/4 cup oil, salt. Mix well and add little water if required to get a thick batter of pouring consistency.
- Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Dip the marinated chicken drums in the batter and deep fry in boiling oil till it becomes crispy and golden brown.
- Fry it in medium or low flame.
