Chicken recipes are delicious and are in lots of varieties. Here comes one among them, which is simple, easy and yummy too.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Chicken: 1/2 kg
- Chilly powder: 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tbs
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder: 3/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Curd: 4 tbs
- Onion: 2-3
- Tomato: 2
- Green chilly: 3
- Cashew: 50 g
- Coriander leaves: 1/4 cup chopped
- Kasuri methi: 1 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: as needed
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Prepare a fine paste with chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, curd and salt.
- Marinate the chicken piecves with the prepared paste.
- Cook marinated chicken along with the paste and 1 tbs oil with lids closed in low flame.
- When the chicken pieces cooks well, remove it from gravy and cook tomato pieces in same gravy in low flame.
- In another pan, heat oil and fry the cooked chicken pieces.
- Take off the chicken pieces, and remove excess oil from the pan.
- Saute Onion in the same pan.
- Add green chilly and coriander leaves and again saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Keeping aside 1/4 of sauted onion, add remaining onion and fried chicken pieces to the gravy with tomato pieces.
- Add kasuri methi also and stir well to get mixed everything.
- Turn off the flame.
