INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Green peas: 1/2 cup
- Carrot: 1
- Potato: 1
- Beans: 10
- Onion:1 / 5-6 shallots
- Tomato: 1
- Garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
- Green chilly:2
- Pepper powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek seed: 6-8
- Cinnamon stick: small piece
- Cardamom: 1
- Cloves: 1
- Thick coconut milk: 1 cup
- Thin coconut milk: 1-1&1/2 cup
- Corn Flour : 1/2 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Oil: little
- Curry leaves: 1 string
- Soak green peas overnight or 5-8 hours.
- Heat a cooker and add oil to it.
- Splitter fenugreek seeds and and cinnamon, clove and cardamom to it.
- Saute a while and add garlic paste then green chilly .
- Add chopped shallots along with curry leaves and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add chopped tomato, chopped vegetables and green peas to it and give a stir on it.
- Then add pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt to it, stir well
- add thin coconut milk, close the lid of cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles in low flame.
- Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down.
- Dissolve corn flour in thick coconut milk and are poured to the gravy, mix well and cook till it boils.
- Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves if needed.
