Apple Kheer Recipe


Kheer is a healthy pudding prepared by broken rice, semolina or broken wheat in milk. Addition of chopped fruits  enhances its nutrient content as well as its taste. Here is a recipe of kheer with the flavor of apple. It is healthy and are favorable especially for kids due to its sweetness.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Apple: 1
  2. Semolina(rawa): 1 tbs
  3. Milk: 1/2 cup
  4. Water: 1/4 cup
  5. Cardamom : 1
  6. Sugar: 1 tbs
  7. Ghee: 1 tbs
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Peel off the apple and finely grate it or you can mash also.
  • Roast semolina in ghee and cook with 1/4 cup of water.
  • When it cooked well and thickens, add grated apples with sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Now add milk and boil in low flame by stirring occasionally.
  • When the apple cooks well and starts thickens, turn off the flame.
  • Don't allow to thickens more as it will thicken while cooling.
  • You can add more sugar as per your taste.
  • Consume hot or allow it to cool.
