Vanilla sugar cookies are firm and sweet cookie crystal made of egg white and sugar with the flavor of vanilla. They are delicious, brings creamy effect in our mouth. Kids will surely love it because of its yummy and sweet taste. Here we use cream of tartar (available in markets) to get the creamy touch to cookies which is optional, you can skip that step also.
- Egg white: 3
- Sugar: 3/4 cup
- Vanilla essence: 2 tsp
- Cream of Tartar: 1/4 tsp
- Salt: 1/4 tsp
- Place egg whites in a comparitively large bowls and add vanilla essence, salt and cream of tartar to it.
- Beat it in high speed till it foams well.
- Then add sugar 1-2 tbs at a time and beat in intervals till the sugar dissolves completely and we get a foamy peak egg white .
- Pour this to the baking sheet little by little using a pastry bag or simply by a spoon to get cookie shapes. You can use lid of any shape you wish in pastry bag.
- Preheat the oven to 250 degree and place the baking tray in it.
- Bake up to 40-45 minutes or until the cookies seems firm.
- Remove it from oven when it cools.
- Consume as itself or store in dry airtight container.
- You can also use bites of cashews or dried coconut powder to this cookies before baking which may increase its taste and flavor.
