Sweet potato is starchy sweet tasting tuberous root vegetable. We love eating it simply by just cooking it because of its sweetness. A snack or sweet made with it will be more sweet and delicious. As a sweet snack kids will surely love it. It is easy to prepare, need less time and ingredients and healthy too.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Sweet potato(cooked and powdered): 2 cup
- Coconut: 1 cup
- Sugar: 3/4 cup
- Rice powder: 3/4 cup
- Ghee: 2 tbs
- Cardomom powdered: 5
- Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Roast coconut in ghee till a pleasant aroma comes or it become light brownish.
- In a non stick pan,cook sweet potato with sugar till its water dries completely.
- Then add cardomom powder and roasted coconut.
- Mix well and turn off the flame.
- Convert it into small balls of lemon size.
- Make batter of rice powder with water . No need of too thick.
- Its thickness should be like of dosa batter.color.
- Roll the balls in rice batter and fry it till it becomes light brownish.
