Bhatoora Recipe


Bhatoora is fluffy traditional north indian breakfast or dinner recipe. It is deep-fried bread prepared by leavened all purpose flour dough. It is consumed hot with any gravy. Kids loves it  as it is fluffy soft resembles puris.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All purpose flour(maida): 4 cup
  2. Egg: 2
  3. Sourless curd: 1 cup
  4. Sugar: 2 tsp
  5. Baking soda: 1 tsp
  6. Salt: to taste
  7. Oil: for deep frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Mix egg, curd, baking soda, sugar and salt together in a bowl.
  • In a bowl , take maida in a bowl, add the mixture into it and knead well to get a smooth dough.
  • Add water if necessary.
  • Keep it for leavening for atleast 6 hours by covering with a wet cloth.
  • After leavening process, make them into balls, roll or press it to get round puris.
  • Donot make it too thin, a medium thickness is required.
  • Deep fry it till both sides cooks and becomes fluffy.
Soft fluffy Bhatoora is ready. Serve it hot.
