Bhatoora is fluffy traditional north indian breakfast or dinner recipe. It is deep-fried bread prepared by leavened all purpose flour dough. It is consumed hot with any gravy. Kids loves it as it is fluffy soft resembles puris.
- All purpose flour(maida): 4 cup
- Egg: 2
- Sourless curd: 1 cup
- Sugar: 2 tsp
- Baking soda: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: for deep frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix egg, curd, baking soda, sugar and salt together in a bowl.
- In a bowl , take maida in a bowl, add the mixture into it and knead well to get a smooth dough.
- Add water if necessary.
- Keep it for leavening for atleast 6 hours by covering with a wet cloth.
- After leavening process, make them into balls, roll or press it to get round puris.
- Donot make it too thin, a medium thickness is required.
- Deep fry it till both sides cooks and becomes fluffy.
