Paneer is a healthy food item. Its taste can be converted into any sweet or spicy dish. Here is a simple sweet recipe prepared with paneer and milk. Its healthy and lovable especially for kids. It is a traditional Kerala sweet.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Paneer: 200 g
- Khoya: 200 g (can be prepared by thickening 1&1/2 L milk)
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Milk: 2 L
- Water: 1/4 cup
- Cardamom: 4
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix paneer with milk using a mixer grinder without any clumps.
- This mixture and khoya are then mixed together.
- Melt sugar in water and boil till it becomes thick syrup.
- Mix paneer mix and sugar syrup and boil in low flame by stirring continuously.
- When this mix bubbles, add cardamom powder, mix well and turn off the flame.
- Pour this mix to a butter or ghee brushed tray and allow it to cool.
- When it cools, cut into any shape you loves.
- Garnish it with grated pista or almond.
