Kuboos is famous arabic bread which is now came to the menu allover the world. It became main food for the people working in gulf countries. It is soft rottis even loves to it with mayonnaise. It doesn't require any gravy, simply can be eaten with mayonnaise or fried chicken, goes well with gravy also. Here is a simple recipe for the preparation of soft kuboos.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- All purpose flour(maida): 2 cup
- Milk : for kneading( almost 1/2 cup)
- Yeast: 1/2 tsp
- Curd: 2 tsp
- Sugar: 3 tsp
- Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix curd, sugar and yeast together.
- In a bowl, add maida and salt, mix well to reach everywhere.
- Then add the curd yeast mixture and mix well.
- Add milk little by little and knead till we get a smooth non sticky dough.
- Brush oil/ ghee on a bowl, place the kneaded dough over it and cover with a wet cloth.
- Keep it aside for atleast 5 hours.
- After fermentation period, make the dough into balls.
- Roll each ball and cook both sides like we do for chappathi in a hot pan.
Soft and tasty kuboos is ready. Its easy to prepare, give a try on it.
