Chilly Chicken Recipe



Chilly Chicken is a Chinese chicken recipes in origin but it became popular throughout the world. Mostly boneless chicken pieces are used for the preparation. It has a combination flavor of different sauces. It can be prepared as dry chicken chilly as well as with little gravy also.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Chicken: 3/4 kg
  2. Chilly powder: 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  4. Pepper powder:1/2 tsp
  5. Vinegar:1/2 tsp
  6. Soy sauce: 2 tsp
  7. Chilly sauce: 2 tsp
  8. Tomato sauce: 1/2 cup
  9. Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tsp
  10. Green chilly:10-12
  11. Butter: 50 g
  12. Corn flour(mixed in water): 2 tsp
  13. Capsicum: 1/2 cup
  14. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
    • Cut the chicken into small pieces, clean and drain off water.
    • Add chilly powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt, chilly sauce, soy sauce vinegar to the chicken and marinate well. Keep it aside for 2-3 hours.
    • Then add cornflour mix to it, mix well .
    • Fry the chicken pieces .
    • In another pan, melt butter and add ginger-garlic paste.
    • When its raw smell goes off , add onion, capsicum, green chilly to it and saute a little.
    • Do not saute more as we need it crispy.
    • Then add fried chicken pieces and marinated gravy to it and mix well.
    • Then add tomato sauce, mix well and turn off the flame.
    Delicious Chilly chicken is ready. Serve hot .
