Chickpeas Chat Recipe



Chickpeas are one of the healthiest among gram family. Its consumption is beneficial for diabetic patients, lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and are healthy for bone strength. There are many other benefits that you can see while googling. Here is a chat with chickpeas with little spicy and a crunchiness of cucumber. It is an Arabian chat suitable and healthy for any age at any time.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION


  1. Chickpeas: 1 cup
  2. Onion: 1
  3. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
  4. Green-chilly: 2
  5. Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
  7. Cucumber: 2 small
  8. Coriander leaves: little
  9. Salt: to taste
  10. Oil: 1 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION


  • Soak chickpeas for 5-8 hrs or overnight.
  • Cook it with little salt and turmeric powder with required amount of water in cooker for 4-5  whistle.
  • Heat  a pan, boil oil and saute onion till it become transparent.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chilly paste and saute till it raw smell goes off.
  • Then add turmeric powder, pepper powder,and little salt and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add cooked chickpeas as well as little coriander leaves , mix well and cook well for 5-10 minutes .
  • Turn off the flame and add chopped cucumber over it.
  • Mix well and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Delicious and healthy Chickpeas chat is ready . Serve hot at any time.
