Banana Bolly Recipe.



Banana Bolly is a stuffed chapathi snack with sweetened banana-coconut mixture. Its a tea time snack. As a sweet snack , our kids will love it surely. As it is stuffed with banana and coconut, it is healthy also. It is a simple recipe, just have a try on it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Banana: 2
  2. Coconut: 1/2 of 1
  3. Sugar : 1 cup
  4. Cardamom: 5
  5. All purpose flour(maida): 500 g
  6. Turmeric powder: a pinch
  7. Ghee: 1/4 cup
  8. Sugar powder: 1/4 cup
  9. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Cook banana in steam and grind in mixer grinder without water.
  • Grind grated coconut also.
  • Heat a thick-bottomed pan and add some ghee on it.
  • Saute grinded banana in ghee and then add coconut to it.
  • Mix well and add sugar and cardamom powder .
  • Mix and saute well . 
  • Turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
  • Meanwhile we can prepare chapathi dough.
  • Mix maida with salt and turmeric powder .
  • Prepare dough by adding water little by little.
  • Then add little ghee over it and knead well.
  • Convert it into balls of lemon size.
  • Also convert banana-coconut mix into lemon sized balls.
  • Brush the dough balls with ghee and roll a little.
  • Place banana-coconut balls in middle and cover it with dough.
  • Again brush little ghee over it and roll into thin chapathis slowly.
  • Cook both sides in hot frying pan .
  • Spread little powdered sugar over it and give a fold on it.
  • Repeat the steps for each balls.
Sweet delicious Banana bolly is ready.
