Fruit jams are our kids favorite. We can easily prepare jams from our home with few ingredients. It's more tasty and healthy than store bought one. Let us try yummy strawberry jam with fresh strawberries. Have a look on my other versions of jam

- Fresh strawberries: 250 g
- Sugar: 1&1/4 cup
- Lemon juice: 1 tbs
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Clean the strawberries and cut into small pieces.
- Add them into a pan along with sugar and lemon juice.
- Cook it in low flame with closed lid and stir in interwals.
- The juice from strawberries will ooze out while cooking.
- Cook in medium flame till the liquid in the mixture reduces and thickens.
- Now reduce the flame to low and stir cook till the mixture thickens and get a texture of jam,that means it won't stick on sides of pan.
- Place a little jam on a plate and water won't get separated , then jam is ready.
- Allow it to cool and bottle it after cooling.
- Refrigerate for long term use.
