Chocolate Cake On Stovetop

Let's prepare spongy and yummy chocolate cake better than oven on stovetop easily and almost same time that of oven baking. So no need of worrying about absence of oven, power supply and so on.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Egg: 2( @ room temperature)
  2. Powdered sugar: 1 cup
  3. All purpose flour: 1&1/2 cup
  4. Cocoa powder: 1/2 cup
  5. Sunflower oil: 3/4 cup
  6. Milk: 1cup
  7. Vinegar: 1tbs
  8. Baking soda: 2 tsp
  9. Butter: 1 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Add vinegar to milk, mix well and keep aside for 20-30 minutes which will convert milk to buttermilk.
  • Keep ready the baking tray greased with butter and dusted with flour.
  • Sift mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.
  • Beat 2 eggs at 2-3 speed for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now add powdered sugar little by little and beat .
  • Now increase the speed to high and beat till sugar combines with egg and mixture turns creamy.
  • Now add sunflower oil and beat a while to get combined.
  • Now add buttermilk and gradually mix with the above mixture.
  • Slowly fold the flour mixture without any lump. Donot beat using beater.
  • Pour on to the greased baking tray and slightly knock 2-3 timeson table with the tray to remove any unwanted air.
  • Place a ring inside a large pressure cooker or any thick bottomed pan that can hold the baking tray.
  • Place the baking tray above the ring and close the lid. If you are using pressure cooker, take care to remove whistle and belt of the lid.
  • Cook in high flame for 5 minutes, then lower the flame and cook for 35- 40 minutes.
  • Just insert a toothpick in the centre of the cake, if it comes out clear then cake is ready.
  • Remould the cake and allow it to  cool.
  • Top it with chocolate ganache whipping cream ir cream cheese Frosting as you wish.
