Tapioca Chips

We all used to buy crispy tapioca chips from market usually. We can prepare it easily and quickly with only few ingredients. Only we need is tapioca and we can season it with anything we love. If using small tapioca for preparation, you will get thin round slices. Here I used a larger one, so didn't got perfect round shape.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Tapioca: 1
  2. Salt: to taste
  3. Oil: for deep frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Remove the skin of tapioca and thinly slice it using a slicer.
  • Wash it and drain the water.
  • Marinate it with required salt. You can also add little chilly powder if you loves spice.
  • Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Sun dry or keep in microwave to remove the moisture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the slices in oil in batches.
  • Donot overload the pan, which may not turn the chips crispy.
  • Fry in medium low flame till crispy.
  • Drain the excess oil.
  • Temper it with little more salt or chilly powder if needed.
Delicious Crispy and Healthy Tapioca Chips is ready. Store in airtight container for further use.
