Irumban Puli Juice / Bilimbi Thunder

Irumban Puli or bilimbi is a fruit with sour taste. Here I prepare a delicious thundering juice or crusher with it. Give a try to experience a new thrilling taste.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Bilimbi: 200 g
  2. Sugar: 200 g
  3. Mint leaves: 15 leaves
  4. Plain soda: 1/2-1 L
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Wash and cut bilimbi or irumban Puli into pieces and add them to a pan.
  • Pour water till it covers the bilimbi pieces.
  • Also add sugar.
  • Cook in medium flame till water boils, melts sugar and cooks the pieces.
  • Allow it to cool, blend it along with mint leaves using a blender and strain it to remove the wastes.
  • Chill it in refrigerator in a closed bottle.
  • Now take glasses, pour 2-3 tbs of syrup ( depends on size of glass)
  • Fill the glass with chilled soda
  • Garnish it with mint leaves and ice cubes( optional and serve soon.
