Irumban Puli or bilimbi is a fruit with sour taste. Here I prepare a delicious thundering juice or crusher with it. Give a try to experience a new thrilling taste.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Bilimbi: 200 g
- Sugar: 200 g
- Mint leaves: 15 leaves
- Plain soda: 1/2-1 L
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Wash and cut bilimbi or irumban Puli into pieces and add them to a pan.
- Pour water till it covers the bilimbi pieces.
- Also add sugar.
- Cook in medium flame till water boils, melts sugar and cooks the pieces.
- Allow it to cool, blend it along with mint leaves using a blender and strain it to remove the wastes.
- Chill it in refrigerator in a closed bottle.
- Now take glasses, pour 2-3 tbs of syrup ( depends on size of glass)
- Fill the glass with chilled soda
- Garnish it with mint leaves and ice cubes( optional and serve soon.
