Whole Wheat Pancake

Here comes a lovely and healthy breakfast or lunch box idea for our lovely kids: Whole wheat pancake. It is yummy ,easy, quick and healthy recipe, give a try on it.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Wheat flour: 1 cup
  2. Egg: 1
  3. Sugar: 2-3 tbs( to your taste)
  4. Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
  5. Milk: 1/4-1/2 cup
  6. Salt: a pinch
  7. Butter: 1&1/2 tbs
  8. Honey: for topping
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Mix wheat flour, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
  • Combine melted butter with it.
  • Mix well egg and sugar( or use honey instead for more healthy) and pour it to flour mix.
  • Combine well 
  • Add milk little by little and fold till we get a smooth thick batter without any lump.
  • Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes or if you are in urge , you can prepare at the same time itself.
  • Heat a non stick pan and pour a laddle of batter .
  • Donot spread or disturb the batter. It will spread by itself.
  • When it start bubbling at top, turn to other side and cook for 1-2 minutes in low flame.
  • Repeat the steps for remaining batter.
Delicious wheat pancakes are ready. Serve hot with honey or any other syrup or jam.
