Here comes a lovely and healthy breakfast or lunch box idea for our lovely kids: Whole wheat pancake. It is yummy ,easy, quick and healthy recipe, give a try on it.

- Wheat flour: 1 cup
- Egg: 1
- Sugar: 2-3 tbs( to your taste)
- Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
- Milk: 1/4-1/2 cup
- Salt: a pinch
- Butter: 1&1/2 tbs
- Honey: for topping
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix wheat flour, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
- Combine melted butter with it.
- Mix well egg and sugar( or use honey instead for more healthy) and pour it to flour mix.
- Combine well
- Add milk little by little and fold till we get a smooth thick batter without any lump.
- Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes or if you are in urge , you can prepare at the same time itself.
- Heat a non stick pan and pour a laddle of batter .
- Donot spread or disturb the batter. It will spread by itself.
- When it start bubbling at top, turn to other side and cook for 1-2 minutes in low flame.
- Repeat the steps for remaining batter.
Delicious wheat pancakes are ready. Serve hot with honey or any other syrup or jam.
