INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Bread: 5 slices
- Milk: 1/3 cup
- Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Cardamom: 1
- Oil: for deep frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Remove the sides of bread slices.
- Dip each slice in milk and squeeze out all milk present in bread.
- Do the same with all bread slices.
- Using a blender or simply by hand, knead all bread together.
- Mix baking powder too.
- Squeeze out all milk, otherwise it may turns sticky and you cann' t make balls.
- Incase your' s turn sticky, mix little all purpose flour.
- Convert them to balls. Donot apply too much pleasure which may turn jamun hard.
- Before frying the ball, we have to prepare sugar syrup.
- Boil 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water and cardamom , till they turns sticky consistancy.
- Now fry the balls to golden and dip it in sugar syrup when hot itself.
- Keep it aside for sometime to get sugar syrup absorbed.Delicious Instant Gulab jamun is ready. Serve hot or chilled with a scoop of ice- cream or with pieces of almond.
