Malai prawnsvis a delicious curry recipe with creamy gravy. It is simple, easy and lovely which can be prepared quickly with only few ingredients. It goes great with any time dish, give a try upon it. Malai prawns are best choice for starters in cooking.
- Prawns: 300 g
- Onion: 1
- Tomato: 2
- Green chilly: 2
- Ginger- garlic paste: 1&1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder: 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 3/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Thick coconut milk: 1 cup
- Thick or fresh cream: 2 tbs
- Coriander leaves: 1-2 tbs
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: 1&1/2 tbs
- Curry leaves: 1 string
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Clean prawns and keep aside.
- Grind onion, tomato and green chilly into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, saute ground paste and curry leaves for 4-5 minutes.
- Now add ginger- garlic paste and saute till its raw smell moves.
- Now add all masala powders and saute till a nice aroma arrives.
- Now add prawns and salt and cook till prawns get cooked with closed lid.
- Now pour thick coconut milk and stir cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour half of fresh cream and coriander leaves and remove from flame.
Yummy Malai Prawns are ready. Serve hot by topping with cream and coriander leaves.
