Blackforest Cake

We all love have cakes especially our kids. We can easily prepare them at home. Here comes a simple and lovely recipe for delicious Blackforest cake, give a try upon it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Egg: 3
  2. All purpose flour: 3/4 cup
  3. Sugar: 1 cup + 1/4 cup
  4. Cocoa powder: 1/4 cup
  5. Vanilla essence: 1/2 tsp
  6. Baking powder: 1 tsp
  7. Sunflower oil/ Butter: 1/2 cup
  8. Milk: 1/2 cup
  9. Salt: a pinch
  10. Whipped cream: 2 cup
  11. Chocolate shavings: to garnish
  12. Cashew: 100 g
  13. Cherry: to garnish
  14. Butter: 2 tbs
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Sift mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt .
  • Beat egg with sugar till they foams well.
  • Now add vanilla extract, milk and oil and again beat till it combines.
  • Now slowly fold flour mix without any lumb.
  • Grease a pan with butter and sprinkle some flour.
  • Pour the cake mix into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven of 180 degree.
  • Check whether it has done or not by inserting a toothpick in centre of cake. If it comesout cleae, then it is done, otherwise bake for somemore time.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely.
  • Prepare sugar syrup with 1/4 cup sugar and water by boiling. Allow it to cool.
  • Roast cashew pieces in butter and keep aside.
  • Beat whipped cream until fluffy.
  • Now cut the cake into two halves.
  • Place one piece in a Cake tray and wet it with sugar syrup.
  • Allow it to absorb.
  • Spread a layer of whipped cream , sprinkle some cashew pieces along with chocolate shavings.
  • Top it with other piece of cake.
  • Now wet it with sugar syrup and allow it to absorb.
  • Spread whipped cream all over the cake, garnish it with roasted cashew, chocolate shavings and cherry.
Delicious Blackforest Cake is Ready, chill and serve.
