Stuffed Banana / Pazham Nirachadh

Bananas are lovely and nutritious fruit rich in vitamins and iron. Here comes a delicious snack recipe with ripe bananas. Sweet coconut filling is stuffed inside bananas and are sealed with thick flour batter and are fried in oil. It is really yummy and are best choice for Ifthar, teatime, tiffin box or any occasions. Give a try upon it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Big banana( choose smaller size from it): 6-7
  2. Coconut grated : 1 cup
  3. Egg : 2
  4. Cardamom: 1
  5. Sugar : 3-4 TBS
  6. Ghee: 1 TBS
  7. All purpose flour: 1 cup
  8. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Choose medium riped bananas for preparation.
  • Heat a pan with ghee and cook grated coconut along with sugar.
  • When it's water content dries up, add beaten egg along with cardamom and stir cook till they gets golden brown colour.
  • Now peel of bananas and cut the centre of it with knife without cutting the ends and lower part, thus we get a hole to fill .
  • Fill it with prepared coconut mix .
  • Do the same with all bananas.
  • Prepare thick batter with all purpose flour.
  • Seal the opening of banana with it. Then dip the whole banana in batter.
  • Fry them in hot oil in low flame.
Delicious Stuffed bananas are ready. Cut and serve.
