Homemade Samosa Sheets

Most of us are fond of samosas. Usually we buy ready-made samosas or Samosa patties or sheets from stores. But they are not much tasty or healthy as home made and are expensive too. We can easily prepare Samosa sheets and awesome samosas from home with only common ingredients. You can use your own masala for filling. Give a try on this awesome recipe.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All purpose flour: 1 cup+ little more
  2. Corn flour: 1 TBS
  3. Salt: to taste
  4. Ghee: for spreading
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Sift mix 1 cup all purpose flour with cornflour and salt.
  • Knead it with water to smooth dough like chapati.
  • Left it aside for 10-20 minutes
  • Now convert them into small unique sized balls.
  • Flatten the balls uniquely a little using a rolling pin or by hand itself.
  • Now take a flattened ball and spread little ghee over it.
  • Place the second balls over it and again spread little ghee over it.
  • Now place the third one and give a press over it to get stuck. You can do it with 2,3or 4 balls at a time.
  • Roll it into thin circular sheets using a rolling pin by sprinkling little flour.
  • Repeat the steps with remaining balls.
  • Heat a pan and place the rolled sheet on it. The flame should be low.
  • When it heats up a little , turn to other side and cook till it bubbles all over and lower part turns lightly brown.
  • Again turn to other side and cook till it turns lightly brown and puffs.
  • Remove from pan and repeat the steps for remaining sheets.
  • Cut the sheets with a sharp knife to 4 triangular sheets.
  • Now take a triangular sheet and slowly separate the layers. Now we will get 3 sheets from a single one as we rolled three balls together. 
Samosa sheets are ready now. Now fill it with your favorite masala, seal it and fry in oil to get delicious crispy samosas.
