Chicken Samosa

Samosas are lovely snack prepared with any masala covered in crispy Samosa sheets. They are lovely teatime or treat snack. They are common in Ifthar treats. So during this ramzan , give a try on this simple and delicious Samosa recipe at home. For homemade Samosa sheets, click on sheets.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Samosa sheets: 15-20
  2. Shredded chicken: 3/4 cup(cooked with salt,turmeric and pepper powder and shredded)
  3. Onion: 3
  4. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 TBS
  5. Green chilly: 2-3(pasted)
  6. Chicken masala: 1/2 TSP
  7. Garam masala: 1/2 TSP
  8. Pepper powder: 1/2 TSP( optional)
  9. Turmeric powder: 1/4 TSP
  10. Coriander leaves: little
  11. Salt : to taste 
  12. Oil: for deep frying+2-3 tbs
  13. All purpose flour:2 TBS
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Heat 2-3 TBS of oil in a pan and saute onion till it softens and turns it's color to lightly brownish.
  • Now add ginger-garlic and green chilly paste and saute till it's raw smell escapes.
  • Now add all masala powders and salt and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add shredded chicken and coriander leaves and stir well.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes and remove from flame.

  • Now take a triangular Samosa sheet and fold it to get a cone shape(as shown in picture)and gum it with all-purpose flour paste( mix all purpose flour in little water to get thick paste).
  • Now fill the cone with chicken masala and seal it with the help of flour paste.
  • Repeat the steps for remaining sheets and masala.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the samosas to golden brown.
Delicious and crispy Chicken Samosas are ready. Serve hot.
