Banana sandwich is a healthy sandwich recipe which can be prepared easily and quickly. It is the best and healthy choice for kids tiffin box , Ifthar or guests treat. Also you can easily prepare it for your teatime. Give a try upon it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Bread slices : 6
- Banana big: 2
- Egg: 1
- Ghee :2-3 TBS
- Sugar : 1-2 TBS
- Cardamom powder: a pinch ( optional )
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Peel off the banana and cut into small pieces.
- Heat 1-2 TBS of ghee in a pan and roast banana pieces in it.
- Also add required sugar while roasting.
- When banana pieces cooks well and mashes, remove from flame.
- Now take a slice of bread and spread little roasted banana as we spread jam.
- Place another slice of bread and give a press.
- Again spread banana over it and cover with another slice of bread. You can make any number of layers.
- Press it well to get stuck .
- Beat a egg along with cardamom powder using a spoon. You can also use sugar if you need more sweet.
- Heat a pan with ghee.
- Dip the Layered bread in egg and place it in hot pan with ghee.
- Cook both sides till they turns golden.
- Do the same with remaining bread and banana.
