Babycorn Fritters / Fry

Baby corn Fritters or fry is a delicious snack recipe which can be prepared easily and quickly and are lovely too. Surely all especially kids will love this awesome fritter, give a try on it. It is lovely and healthy for Ifthar too.



INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Babycorn: 6_8
  2. Cornflour: 1/2 cup
  3. Pepper powder: 1/2 TSP
  4. Salt : to taste
  5. Oil : for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Cut the baby corn into two halves. If it is little big, cut them into four.
  • Cook it in boiling water with little salt till they get half cooked.
  • Take out from water and drain it.
  • Prepare batter with cornflour, pepper powder, and salt with little water. It should not be too thick or too watery.
  • You can also prepare batter with rice flour or white rice batter.
  • Dip the corn pieces in flour batter and fry it in hot oil till they get golden color in low flame by flipping to all sides.
  • Remove from oil and drain in kitchen tissue.
Delicious crispy Babycorn Fritters or fry is ready. Serve hot as itself or with tomato ketchup.
