Wheat Coconut Cookies

We, especially our kids love to have cookies with a cup of tea or at anytime. It is one of the popular teatime or tiffin snack. Store bought one may have artificial ingredients that destroys our health. There are lots of simple and lovely homemade recipes. Here comes one among that which is more healthy as they are made with wheat flour and coconut. Wheat coconut cookies are delicious, easy to prepare and are healthy too.Give a try upon it.



INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Wheat flour: 1/2 cup
  2. Desiccated coconut: 1/4 cup + garnishing
  3. Powdered sugar: 1/4 cup
  4. Butter: 1/4 cup
  5. Milk: for kneading(if required)
  6. Vanilla essence: 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt: a pinch
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Beat and combine powdered sugar with butter.
  • Now add wheat flour, desiccated coconut, vanilla essence and a pinch of salt to it and combine well.
  • Knead them into smooth dough by adding little milk.
  • Convert them into small balls and slightly press them with your palms.
  • Roll it in desiccated coconut to get a coat .
  • Preheat oven to 180 degree .
  • Place the cookies in a greased tray with little gap and bake at preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool  and store in air-tight container.
