Wheat Butter Naan

Butter naan are lovely dinner recipe which is usually prepared with all purpose flour. Here comes a healthier and softer butter naan recipe with whole wheat flour. It is simple and easy with few available ingredients that everyone will love surely especially kids. Give a try up on it.




INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Wheat flour: 3 cup
  2. Yogurt: 1/4 cup
  3. Yeast: 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar: 1 tbs
  5. Butter: 2 tbs + for spreading
  6. Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Mix yeast and sugar with little warm water and rest it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Take a bowl, mix wheat flour, yogurt, yeast mix, salt and butter.
  • Knead it to a smooth dough by adding water little by little.
  • Cover it with a wet cloth and rest it for 2 hours.
  • Convert the dough into medium balls and again cover it with wet cloth for 1/2 an hour.
  • Roll each ball into sheets by sprinkling little flour on it.
  • Place one in hot pan and cook both sides by turning till they get brown spots.
  • Now apply butter on both sides and remove from pan.
  • Repeat the steps for all balls.
Delicious, soft and healthy Wheat butter naan is ready. Serve hot
