- Wheat flour: 3 cup
- Yogurt: 1/4 cup
- Yeast: 1/2 tsp
- Sugar: 1 tbs
- Butter: 2 tbs + for spreading
- Salt: to taste
- Mix yeast and sugar with little warm water and rest it for 10-15 minutes.
- Take a bowl, mix wheat flour, yogurt, yeast mix, salt and butter.
- Knead it to a smooth dough by adding water little by little.
- Cover it with a wet cloth and rest it for 2 hours.
- Convert the dough into medium balls and again cover it with wet cloth for 1/2 an hour.
- Roll each ball into sheets by sprinkling little flour on it.
- Place one in hot pan and cook both sides by turning till they get brown spots.
- Now apply butter on both sides and remove from pan.
- Repeat the steps for all balls.
